A group of a religious Quakers care the rousing trees as a holy mission. He falls in love of the leader(Eve Miller)and befriends of a kind old man (Edgar Buchanan) and will confront against the enemies.The film deals upon the taking on amongst nasties lumbermen and peaceful homesteaders. The picture blends action western,love story, tension and stimulating outdoors. The landscapes with the sequoiais`s wood are spellbound and breathtaking. There are excellent action sequences as the derailing train where Kirk Douglas demonstrates his energy as action hero. Cinematography is glimmer and colour but is quite worn out . Acting principal actors is top notch likeness to the support cast(Buchanan, Patrice Wymore,Alan Hale and John Archer)every body are awesome. The flick will like to landscapes and Kirk Douglas lovers. Rating: Good. Well worth seeing.
